Water Cycle Wonders Activity
The water cycle is the continuous and constant process of change and renewal of the Earth’s supply of water. It’s one of the largest processes the Earth undergoes, and this experiment aims to shrink it down into the palm of your hands and show you first hand how it happens.
All you need is a clear plastic resealable bag, a few spoonfuls of dirt and grass, some water, some tape, and a sunny window.

- Heat from the sun will warm the soil and air in the bag and cause the water to evaporate. When water vapor comes into contact with the plastic bag, it will condense and turn back into liquid water. Tapping the bag will make the water droplets roll down the sides of the bag and go back into the soil, like precipitation. Voilà, the water cycle!
